“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints”- Psalm 116:15

‘Some day you will read in the papers that “…”, of “…”, is dead.  Don’t you believe a word of it!  At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now, I shall have gone up higher, that is all; out of this old clay tenement into a house that is immortal - a body that death cannot touch; that sin cannot taint; a body fashioned like unto His glorious body.  I was born of the flesh in “…” I was born of the Spirit in “…”  That which is born of the flesh my die.  That which is born of the Spirit will live forever.” - D.L.Moody

How could D.L.Moody proclaim such a thing?!  Because He knew the Savior!  Jesus said in the gospel of John “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.  Do you believe this?” (11: 25-26)

Do you?  Have you received Jesus Christ as Savior, and is He Lord of your life?  Then like Brother Moody, you can fill your name in the “…” with confidence.  I am glad there is hope beyond the grave.  It seems like heaven must be filling up with so many of His saints passing away lately, but there are still “Vacancies.”  And death is only the beginning for those who truly believe!  I pray you believe on Christ and make heaven your home , while there is still time.  Some day Jesus is going to put up the “ no- vacancy” sign - “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6: 2b)
