    Righteousness exalts a Nation

    I love my country!  I have been so blessed to live out my life here.  I am thankful for the men and women who have given their very lives to defend the freedoms that I enjoy.  I am equally thankful for those who continue to put their life on the line, domestically and abroad to ensure these freedoms endure.  But will these freedoms continue when we as a Nation systematically take the God of the Bible, that our forefathers and foremothers believed in, out of the very fabric of this great Nation?!  As much as I love my country, I love my Creator more - the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  The God of the Ten Commandments - the God of the Holy Bible contained within the canon of inspired scripture - Genesis through Revelation.  The God revealed through the incarnation of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ!  Our founders believed this - and so do I.  But America - God will not be mocked.  The Bible says, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”  Proverbs 14:34  

    I may have to go through the fiery furnace, but as Shadrach, Meshach,and Abednego said, “…be it known to you, o king, that we will not serve your gods…” (Daniel 3: 18)   “The Lord our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey.” (Joshua 24: 24)   Church, lets be the people God has called us to be and obey His voice.  Church, lets pray for our leaders that they will return to the God of our forefathers - and listen to His voice!
