My prayers go out to the people of Texas and all those areas and families affected by the most recent hurricane.  Some would say, I don’t want to have anything to do with a God that would allow suffering.  My friend, if you take God out, you are still going to have suffering.  If you leave God in, and look to Him and His word you can understand that God is indeed good and what is going on is just the result of a fallen world (mankind and nature itself).

And yes, as the lyrics go as penned by Pam Thum - “Life is hard, the world is cold, We're barely young and then we're old.

But every falling tear is always understood Yes, life is hard, but God is good. Jesus never said It was an easy road to travel, He only said that you would never be alone. So when your last thread of hope. Begins to come unraveled.  Don't give up, He walks beside you.  

On this journey home and He knows Life is hard, the world is cold…..

Yes, life is hard, but God is good.”   Job put it into proper perspective when he said, “ Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” (cf. Job 2: 10)

Jesus is coming back again soon, and on that great day He will make ALL things new! (cf. Revelation 21)   But until then, “…do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God!” (cf. Micah 6:8)
