Jehovah Mephalti - The Lord my Deliverer!  One of he great themes of the Bible is that God is our deliverer.  The bible is full of accounts and foreshadows of God’s deliverance - from Genesis to Revelation - past, present and future!  God has promised to deliver all who, by faith, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord from the penalty and power of sin!  But what about all the other ‘stuff’ of life?!  When we face those times and or circumstances when we feel trapped with our backs against the wall and we don’t see any way out!?  When our minds and hearts are held hostage by fear, worry and anxiety about the present and future!?  What about when we feel captive by grief because of the loss of a loved one and can’t seem to move forward!?  What about when we don’t feel comfortable in our own skin!?  Can we can be delivered from all this ‘stuff’ too?!  YES!  Jesus said, “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” - Luke 4: 18-19

When the ‘stuff’ of life presses in and tries to hold us captive we must trust and give it over to God.  God is the same yesterday, today and forever!  God can and will make a way where there is no way - just trust and believe!  The very one who saves you from sin desires to deliver you from the ‘stuff’ the holds you captive!

“…do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today…the LORD will fight for you and shall hold your peace.” - Exodus  14: 13-14

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give your rest.” - Jesus

“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you!” - 1 Peter 5:7

Come to Jesus - He will deliver you - He promised!
