Saul met the risen Savior on Damascus road and he never was the same again.  Not just in name only (Paul), but in every aspect of his life.  The gospel, the good news truly transformed and “shaped his life” - forever!

Now Paul, once Saul, saw God as the Lord of every circumstance.

He recognized that the power of God to save him, was the same power that sustained him in life and ministry and called him to holy living - not just in word or deed but in attitude!

Even his attitude toward his sufferings had changed!  By God’s continued grace the Lord’s purpose for him was greater than his suffering.  God had called him to the gospel and he never regretted nor was ever ashamed of answering that call.   For he new the gospel was “the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes!”   Jesus Christ abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel!  Paul said I know whom I have believed and “am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day!” (cf. 2 Timothy 1: 8-12)

I am persuaded today more than ever before that “He is able!”

The gospel is bigger than me.  The gospel is bigger than you.  Keep your eyes on the mission of the good news of Jesus Christ!  Let the same power of God that saved you shape your attitude and perspective in and through all things!

Is your attitude shaped by the gospel?  It can be - just summit to Him!
