By faith I chose to believe God’s word.  From Genesis 1: 1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”  To Revelation 22: 20, “surely I am coming quickly.”  And all in between:  Psalm 117: 2, “…and the truth of the LORD endures forever.”; John 1: 1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” ;         John 3: 16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  Faith grounded on God’s word is critical, for life and death - faith in who God is and who we are - “who am I?”

Often we define ourselves through our jobs, ministry, financial status, success, failure, appearance, what people think or say about us.  Viewing yourself as God sees you is what matters.  God says you are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” (cf. Psalm 139: 13-16)   The bibles says, “as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who are born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”   Have you by faith, believed and received Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord?!  If so, God says you are born again - His son and daughter!   He says you are a new creation and that you have received His righteousness.  He says you are holy and sanctified.  He says you are the salt and light of the world. He says that you are now a part of a royal priesthood, a saint and no longer a sinner.  He says your name is written in the Lamb’s book of life.  He says you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!  He says you are more than conquerers through Him who loved (you).   He says that nothing shall be able to separate (you) from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Greater is He that is you, than he that is in the world!

“Faith & Identity” is important as we find God in each step of this wonderful thing called life!   Faith in God and His word.  Faith in what He thinks and says about us (you) - your “true identity!” 

“Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.”  And all God’s people said, “Amen!”
